More About Coach Bryce
I have been a soccer coach since 2020. I have experience doing 1 on 1 sessions, small group sessions, and full team sessions. I am a part time coach for a UPSL team called AC Raleigh, I have done 1 on 1 sessions in Raleigh and in Memphis, and have done a variety of group sessions. Examples of group sessions I have done include: 3-6 person sessions with professional and collegiate players from the MLS, USL1, MLSNP, NISA, all divisions of NCAA soccer, as well as high school/middle school level players. I have also done larger group sessions (between 10-40) for recreational level players. The clubs I have coached for includes AC Raleigh, Germantown Legends, and Lobos Rush (Memphis). I work with any players older than 5 years old.
I currently play professional soccer for the Michigan Stars in NISA. I have trained in MLS environments such as the Houston Dynamo and FC Dallas. I started my collegiate career with Lehigh University (D1), before transferring to the University of Memphis (D1). I helped lead my teams to the NCAA national tournament in 3 separate seasons (2019, 2022, 2023) and scored a goal in the first round of the national tournament in 2022. I also played in the USL2 for the Ocean City Nor’easters, where we won the Mid Atlantic Division 2 years in a row (2023, 2024). I won the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week in August 2022. Before college I played soccer at Broughton High School and Wake FC.
My individual sessions are all based on the position of the athlete. Typically I liked to start the session with some fitness (optional), then move into general technical drills (dribbling, passing, first touch, etc.), and lastly move into position specific drills. I studied exercise science at the University of Memphis, so I also do sports performance, agility, and speed training for athletes who are interested.
Small group sessions are set up similar to the individual sessions, but with an emphasis on game like scenarios and having to react to and work with other players.
