More About Coach Bryan

I have been supporting athletes with coaching and training at all levels from high school through the elite and professional level. Some of the positions that I’ve held while still continuing to be an athlete today have been volunteer coaches at both Monmouth University and Fairleigh Dickinson University, where I was responsible for supporting the practices and competitions of the sprint team, as well as some of the jumping athletes. Recently, I have met some local athletes and families in my town that I’ve supported with one on one sessions on the side for few weeks and months at a time.
Because I’m still competing as an athlete I am not able to take on a ton of clients which means that the clients that I do take. I enjoy, giving them the attention and support that they need in order to excel. I am super easy to contact and very open to rewriting whatever training guidance that I can to help my athletes grow, whether that’s videos of recorded of myself or Finding online content to share with the families to keep their progress going even sometimes when they are injured or away of vacation. I do not have any industry certifications, but as mentioned prior, my experiences always come from doing as I am a current professional athlete with the Central Park track club.

I have been an athlete since the start of my high school career in 2010. I started out as a football player mainly in transition into TRACK my junior year. From that point in time I excelled at the 100 m 200 m relays and long and triple jump events. I’m currently still a school holder in the triple jump and the 100 m dash at my high school to date and was recently inducted into the high school Hall of Fame. I attended reservoir high school in Laurel Maryland, where my family still lives today, but I have since then moved to East Rutherford New Jersey, where I reside now. I was fortunate enough to get to college scholarship to Monmouth university where I spent four years on the track team with one redshirt year as I completed my masters degree as well. I Competed in the 60 m 100 m 200 m and triple jump events. I am currently the school record holder in the 60 m indoors as well as a member of the 4 x 1 school record as well. During my time at Monmouth, I also was a two time USA indoor championship qualifier since graduating I continue to compete at a professional level with the Central Park Tril in New York, where I have since then competed at the Melrose games the new Balance, Grand Prix, and the USA TF indoor championship this year in Albuquerque New Mexico Against some of the fastest athletes in the world like Christian, Coleman and Noah Lyles.

I don’t like to say, I have a typical training session because I like to make sure that I cater to whatever my athletes goals and skill sets are. Primarily the session will consist of a standard warm-up of high knees, butt kicks a/b skip, leg swings, karaoke, not too much static stretching, but just enough to cater to that athletes needs, and then a few striders to begin to reach the intensity that we will be displaying in the work out. For the workout, if the athlete is looking for technical work and an event such as long jump, we would start off with doing some plyometrics to warm up the body before spending any time in the sand. I think that some athletes enjoy just the fun part of the event, but are unable to recognize that a lot of the work can be done off of the saying competition surface, and it’s important for me to be able to get the athlete to realize that and recognize, the benefits. For a sprinting athlete, I would ask that they share some of their goals with me before we start to build out a training plan. For example, for high school athlete, I would ask that in conjunction with their high school training program if they are following that that we communicate openly about what it is they’ve already done and what are some of the technical things that I can provide them or what is the basic All around development that I can give them so I would like to start for example, with a high school athlete in October to build out our base training before getting into a little bit more of a specific training and specialized focus throughout the months of December and January so that they are ready to compete at their highest level will come their indoor championship time
