More About Coach Brigham
I have experience training athletes across youth, high school, and collegiate levels. As a former NCAA D1 and current professional soccer player, I've worked with players on technical drills, game awareness, and fitness development. I've led small group and 1-on-1 sessions focusing on positional training. I typically work with athletes aged 12–22. While I don’t yet hold industry certifications, my coaching approach is informed by firsthand experience at elite competitive levels and a deep understanding of player development
I currently play professional soccer in Pennsylvania for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, earning a spot on the roster after competing at the NCAA Division 1 level with UNC Charlotte. I’ve represented top-tier youth clubs in Norway and competed in national tournaments. At UNC Charlotte, I helped the team reach conference tournaments and maintained a starting position in multiple seasons. My career includes academic-athletic honors and being recognized as a team leader on and off the field.
In a typical session, I start with a dynamic warm-up and ball control drills, followed by position-specific technical work like offensive/defensive positioning, 1v1 matchups, and crossing accuracy. I emphasize game-like scenarios to build confidence and decision-making under pressure. Each session ends with conditioning and a focus on the mental side of the game, helping players grow both tactically and technically. Sessions are tailored to the player’s level and position to maximize development and progress
