More About Coach Brian

I've been on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for more than 10 years and working as the Omaha Area Director since 2007. On the side, I have been doing basketball training off and on for the last five years, most recently, I'm a regular coach at the School of Hoops for the last two years doing group instruction. I also teach and follow the concept of 3D Coaching and am passionate about coaching a student into being a well-rounded athlete.

In High School in Hubbard, OH, I started at least one game at all 5 positions, giving me a well-rounded knowledge of game play. In college, I played at the University of Nebraska from 1999-2004, where I was the first four-year letter winner under Coach Barry Collier. While at Nebraska, I played in 119 games and was known for my height (6'11") and shooting, making more than 55 percent of my 3-pointers during my senior season, setting both the school and Big 12 records. According to ESPN.com, I ranked first in the nation from downtown among all players with at least 20 threes. I also had the privilege gaining expertise in my knowledge of the center position as I finished my basketball career in 2006 with TBB Trier in the top German League as a post player.

Each session is customized to the needs of the player. I specialize in expert level fundamentals and am able to give workouts they can continue at home between sessions.

Client Reviews

Brian Conklin was a great shooter. Every shot he attempted had a chance to go in because his form and technique was picture perfect!
In all my years of coaching, I have never seen or competed against a better shooter than Brian Conklin
After almost 30 years of coaching on the collegiate level, I would have to rate Brian Conklin's 3-point shooting performance in the BIG XII conference, during his senior year, to be the best I have witnessed!
