Brian Betancourth

I have 9 years of coaching professional baseball experience. I’m currently the Triple A hitting Coach for the Los Angeles Angels. I’ve been with the Angels since 2012. 2010-2011 I coached in the Colorado Rockies organization as an assistant coach in High single A level. In 2010 I was the first base coach in the Under Armor All American game at Wrigley field. Prior to my professional career, I coached high school baseball in Southern California (Valley View High School, Moreno Valley CA)

I played college baseball at Mt. San Jacinto. I played SS/2B/C. I couldn’t continue to play due to a injury. So my playing career was cut short.

First foremost I like to get to know the player and ask them questions in what area they feel they need to work on. Then I ask if they’re ok with me taking video of them, I personally like to take video and show their improvements and like to give them instant feedback. All players are different in their own way, so we ( player and I ) will find the best plan for the player as we move forward.
