Brett Wallace

I have worked with, trained with and hit with hitters from High School, College and proffessional baseball. Gorwing up and during college was involved in many camps and hitting lessons. Continuing throughout my career have helped many teammates and other younger players work on their craft of hitting.

High School All American, Played at Arizona State, Freshmen all american, 2 time 1st team All American, 2 time Pac 10 player of the year (07&08), 2 time Triple Crown Winner of the Pac 10 (07&08), Played on Team USA in 2007 in the Pan American games, First Round Pick (13th overall) in 2008 of the St. Louis Cardinals. Played Parts of 7 seasons in the big leagues (Astros, and Padres), and 9 seasons proffessionally overall.

Depending on the age and level of the player, I would observe and break down the players swing off the tee. Help the player create a game plan for his work, a routine and a fall back plan. Progress through tee drills working on items that I find that they can improve on, or things they would like to work on. Advance to front flips and work on the same concepts and eventually move onto batting practice. Tee work and flips are the fundemental ways to work on perfecting new habits. Also address the approach and gameplan for game action with the hitters, decide what they are thinking or trying to do at the plate, and see if we can help them finetune that and be more successful.
