Ages 2-50! Player Sports Academy Ages 5-13. Saint Paul Blackhawks Ages 5-12. TopSoccer 5-10, City of Rockville 5-12, and Georgetown Day School assistant varsity coach 14-18. Currently coaching 12 different clients ranging from elementary kids just learning the basics to teenagers developing advanced skills as well as 20-somethings learning how to master the game. Also a middle aged man.
2x All State, 3x All Conf, Team MVP 3x . Freshman Starter on Varsity. Junior and Senior year conference player of the year in High School. Nominated for Mr. Soccer Best Senior in the State. 13th ranked soccer recruit in class of 2018 in MN. All State, MVP, Newcomer of the year and broke school assist record (10) as freshman in college. Semi Pro soccer player playing in top semi pro league in DMV, the APL, since 2020, currently pursuing a professional career.
Focus on 90 minute game fitness level, technical ability (dribbling, passing, first touch, shooting), physical strength training as well as mobility work. IQ of game (tactics included) and mindset training geared for top performance as athlete.

Finding a private coach to trust with your child can be an intimidating process. It seems like there are a lot of trainers out there who don't have the right temperament and expertise to effectively work with young athletes, many are over committed with too many clients with too many clients, some have ulterior motivates (like recruiting for club teams they coach), and they are often expensive. I am so grateful to have found Coach Brendan to train my daughter. He is skilled, welcoming, organized, patient, and he clearly loves what he is doing. After just a few sessions, my daughter already feels like a better soccer player. He works her hard, but he explains the value of each drill, so she completely buys into what he asks her to do and what he is teaching. We're looking forward to continuing to work with Coach Brendan. I would recommend him as a trainer to any soccer player, regardless of age or skill level.
