More About Coach Brendan
I have over 5 years of experience as a pitching coach for a travel baseball organization in Austin, TX. Since I play professionally, I continue coaching in the offseason.
I was an All-State pitcher in high school before going on to play Division I baseball at the University of Richmond. I pitched as a starter and a reliever during my 5 year college career. After college, I signed with the Seattle Mariners where I continue to pitch professionally.
Each session will begin with movement prep and a dynamic warm-up to prime the body to throw. Next, the daily throwing and drill work will be executed. Drills will be assigned each day to engage the lower body and reinforce good movement patterns. If it is a bullpen day for the client, they will then get on the mound after the completion of their throwing and drills. In bullpens, I will provide mechanical analysis and advice on pitch grips/pitch selection. Each session will conclude with a post-throw recovery routine. Clients will be encouraged to ask questions at any time throughout the session.
