My sessions include strength training, skills training, or both. With strength training I like to focus on building strength and simulating movements that allayed would do in a game. With skills training I like to focus on ball handling, finishing, shooting, and individual moves. I also do team training.
Typical session (Strength and Skill):
15 minutes of stretching/warmup
45 minutes of strength work using Resistance Bands, TRX Bands, Free Weights, Sleds, etc.
1 hour skill work broken down into:
10-15 minutes of ball handling
10 minutes of different finishes at the rim
20 minutes of shooting (spot shooting, off the move, off the dribble, etc.)
20 minutes of individual moves ( working on moves that simulate game situations, reaction moves, moves into shots, etc.)
