12+ yrs of coaching experience youth to college level lacrosse training & skill development, having worked with clubs & programs from Maryland (Crabs), DC (DC Express, Mad Dogs), Chicago (TRUE IL & Team One), to California (Mad Dogs & ADVNC) as well as coaching national club teams for lacrosse outreach nonprofits (Harlem & Oakland Lacrosse) .
I've worked with intro youth (5-6yr olds) to college & professional lacrosse players, focusing on core skill development, with USA Lacrosse Coach 1-3 certifications, background check, Abuse Training, & develop youth & community coaches through outreach with Oakland Lacrosse
Played 2 yrs club at Howard & Georgetown University while in DC, then worked along side the Major League Lacrosse Chesapeake Bayhawks where I was Team Operations Manager & practice squad player.
My focus within coaching has always been creating a plan to maximize the specific skills & potential that each athlete has and has yet to develop. Training sessions begin with 5-7min, current & future session goal setting with focus on the mental & physical goals. Then "Sports Yoga" stretch & a "BeastMode" ladder warm-up to get body warmed up, 15min wall-ball/passing (Both hands) then into specific skill set training for that day.
