More About Coach Bobbi

I have been coaching for 20 years! Are you serious about high performance? High performance demands so much more than just a training plan. Together we work on mindset, body and brain nutrition, sport specific training, strength training, and recovery for not only a sports high performance, but high performance in LIFE!
I have coached age group swimming, high school track and field, collegiate triathlon and cycling, body building, and many, many individuals, including members of the US Paralympic Team. I work in both group and individual settings and my goal is to bring out the positive best in people. The athletes and I are a team. We work together.

I have been a performance athlete most of my life. I swam in college and was (am) an accomplished road run racer having placed as high as 7th female in Long Beach Marathon. I am also often on the triathlon and duathlon podiums.
Though I am older, I still love to see just how fast I can go. With coaching, my time is limited to shorter mountain biking, running, multisport AND bodybuilding (bikini) events. These events and goals keep me in the sport and healthy!

Every workout has a purpose be it efficiency, technique, or recovery (as examples). Here is an example of how an aerobic capacity development (V02) session might look on the running track:. We will be working out at our pre determined "Interval" pace.
We warm up for 10 - 15 minutes adding some stride outs and drills. We then perform the workout of 5 x 3 minutes at Interval pace (95 - 100% of max heart rate) with 3 minutes of recovery. Jog recovery for 1/2 mile with 4 x 30 second strides with 90 second recovery and a 1/2 mile cool down.

Bodybuilding/Transformation: This is a very challenging sport as not only are we asking the body to be lean, we are looking for specific muscle mass. Nutrition and NOT overdoing the cardio is key. Everyone is so different so weekly check ins are a must! It is amazing to see transformations of both mindset and body!

Client Reviews

Coach Bobbi was awesome! She could tell more about my running habits and form in five minutes than I thought possible. I I hadn't even run for her yet :) I'm excited to continue working with her to speed recovery and explore my potential!

Thanks for helping me out Bobbi!

After training on my own for several Tri's, I knew I would need much more than I could learn on my own to complete a 1/2 Ironman. Even as a novice, Coach Bobbi never made me feel as another Elite-level coach had in the past. Coach Bobbi ALWAYS encouraged me and challenged me with more aggressive training sessions. The key piece to this was that with her support, I knew I could achieve this goal. She always answers my "Newbie" questions and doesn't diminish my experience for asking them. I know two things with certainty; first, that I am faster in all 3 disciplines because of Coach Bobbi's dedication to the sport, to me and her training knowledge. Second, that I will achieve all of my multi-sport goals with her coaching

Bobbi is a phenomenal Triathlon coach, training plans are great and keep my wife on track in her training. Could not recommend her more!

I have been consistently running for a month now, really working on building some base miles before my official marathon training starts. I'm hitting faster pace times & truly enjoying this running thing. 9 miles on the calendar for Sunday. Thanks coach for consistently pushing/believing in me :)
