More About Coach Bill
I have been a basketball coach at Bishop Connolly High School including the last 23 years as varsity boys coach. I have also worked as a basketball skills coach at The Old School Hoop Academy for several years. I have trained boys and girls from age 8-18 from beginner skill level to advanced skill level.
I was a 3 year starter at Bishop Connolly High School and was the All-Time leading scorer in school history upon graduation. I also held the records for most points in a game (42) and most points in a season (513). I was an All Star in several local papers and also named Honorable Mention All State by The Boston Globe and Boston Herald. I played one year on scholarship at Walsh College (Canton, Ohio) before transferring to UMass Amherst.
Specific workouts will vary based on the skill level of the athlete. Proper technique will be taught and drills will be designed to help the athlete make improvement as fast as possible. All workouts will include ball handling and shooting drills. We will also work on taking proper angles and most importantly FOOTWORK!!
