Beckett Howell

I have experience coaching youth soccer through ADP, club teams, camps, and private training. I’ve coached two U9 teams at Richmond United and currently coach the club’s top U16 team. Working with different age groups and skill levels has helped me adapt my coaching to each player’s needs.

Through camps and private sessions, I help players improve their technical skills, build confidence, and develop a better understanding of the game. My goal is to create a positive, challenging environment where players feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and pushing themselves to improve.

I’m currently in my fourth professional season with the Richmond Kickers. I’ve played soccer my entire life, growing up in the Richmond Strikers and Richmond United programs before signing my first professional contract with the Kickers at 17. My journey from local youth soccer to the professional level has taught me the dedication, discipline, and work ethic needed to compete at a high level. I bring that experience into my coaching to help young players develop their skills and work toward their own goals.

My sessions focus on technical development, giving players plenty of touches on the ball to build confidence and comfort in possession. Each session will have a specific theme, such as first touch, dribbling, passing, or finishing, with challenging drills that help players apply those skills in game situations. I also tailor sessions to each player’s goals, so if there’s something specific you want to improve, we can make that a focus. My goal is for every player to leave feeling challenged, encouraged, and more confident on the ball.
