My name is Beau Smith, and my mission is to provide dedicated individuals the BODY of their DREAMS through SUSTAINABLE healthy lifestyle choices. If you are looking for a “magic pill” or an “easy way out”, I am NOT the trainer for you. But if you have REAL GOALS in mind and want REAL RESULTS, I am the Coach that will change your life.
I am college basketball player turned Certified Personal Trainer with worldwide experience. My main passion is one-on-one training. I have provided the proper guidance to numerous clients all of the world reach their physical potential. With realistic and achievable goals, everyone can develop the body they truly desire. But we MUST have a plan of ATTACK! This is where a COACH is crucial.
I began my fitness career in Lucerne, Switzerland training as a Coach for D&R Performance. I have helped shed 100's of pounds off of clients and improve the performance of Olympic Athletes. I was lucky enough to be the private strength and conditioning coach of the Women's Swiss National Rugby Team during my time in Switzerland. An experience I am truly grateful for.
As I returned home to my community of North Texas, I couldn't help but smile knowing that I had the chance to change lives through FITNESS in my home town.
I previously was the Manager of Anytime Fitness in Anna, TX for over a year, where I still provide personal training for many of their clients.
I currently am the proud Owner of R&G Fitness located in McKinney, TX where we specialize in hardcore group and personal training.
I am currently a Certified Personal Trainer through American College of Sports Medicine.
Once named DFW High School Athlete of the Month by Michael Johnson Performance Center in 2008. After 3 years as the starting forward for the Varsity Basketball team for McKinney High School, I received an athletic scholarship to College of the Sequoias near Fresno, California where I was named Captain as a sophomore. After 2 years in California I transferred to Concordia University Nebraska to finish my basketball career. I led my team in rebounds my junior and senior year at CU. Junior year I led my team to a Concordia Invitational Tournament (2nd oldest basketball tournament in America) Championship where I was awarded MVP of the tournament.
Once I have sat down and talked to a client about their specific goals and expectations, we will schedule a program that fits both of our schedules.
Training sessions consist of:
Dynamic Warm-Up (stretching & movements to raise core temperature to prepare the body for exercise)
Base Workout (this is wear we will deliver your results based on your goals. Fat Burning to Strength Training using multiple training principles such as HIIT, Plyometrics, Body Weight Training, Cardiovascular & Muscles Toning and Building.)
Finisher/Cool Down/Flexibility (every workout needs to finish with a cool-down and flexibility in order to prevent soreness and prime to body for proper recovery)
