More About Coach Bart

I have played basketball for the last 22 years. I graduated college with a coaching minor. I have coached basketball for 6 seasons. I have coached on both middle school and high school levels. I also have trained college players.

I love teaching the game of basketball to all ages and skill levels. Personally, I think that I would work best with middle school aged players and beginner players. I teach ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense to all of my players. I love being able to teach the fundamentals to those who desire to learn the game.

While my main goal is for the player to improve and to become a better basketball player, I strive to make that happen in a way that is also fun and enjoyable for the player.

My sessions last an hour. The first session would consist of evaluating the player to see his/her areas of strengths and weaknesses. The following sessions would begin with a warm-up, move to drills specifically designed to help the player develop his/her strengths and improve on their weaknesses. At the end of practice, I will review with the player what we covered in the session and also give him/her different drills to work on at home to continue to improve and be ready for the next session.
