More About Coach Baker
Coached recreational soccer for five-to-seven-year-olds for three years, have been running sports camps for all ages and sports for two years through GamePoint Athletics. Have helped work several baseball prospect/youth camps through my university's baseball program as well as through my high school showcase team. Always willing to coach any sport, any age, when the opportunity arises.
Three-year starter on my high school varsity baseball team, team captain and All-Conference honors senior year, started for several high-level showcase teams throughout high school, recruited and signed to play baseball collegiately at the Division III level at Messiah University, just finished my freshman year there as a 3B/MIF.
I would tailor my one-on-one sessions to what the client wants to work on - whether that be hitting, fielding, throwing, or baserunning. I would utilize tee drills, front toss/BP work, timing drills, ground ball work, footwork drills, short-hop drills, etc. I could also work on the mental aspect of the game - visualization, mindset, approach - as well as help with the recruiting process if the client so wishes.
