Session plans are written based on assessments taken from the first training session. Sessions are centered around technical, physical, cognitive, and tactical training.
For a one-hour session:
Warm-up: 10 minutes
- may include the ball
- dynamic stretching/mobility exercises
- agility and footwork
Ball work: 40-45 min
- drills to improve passing accuracy, ball control, shooting, heading, and other technical skills
- drills will be relevant to player's position and to improve general knowledge of the game
Cool down: 5-10 min
- stretching
*Strength and conditioning work can be added to a session if a player or parent prefers.
Strength work is dependent on the age and level of the player. For example, I would never have any player under age 13 lift weights or permit exercises that would liken the chance of injury. Circuits include exercises to improve overall functional movement, balance, coordination, reaction time, explosive power, agility and speed--specific to the sport of soccer.

Coach Ashleigh is a great coach. We have noticed a big improvement in our daughters technical skills and agility. Her training techniques are amazing and she tailors them to each individual child. Our daughter looks forward to her training sessions with Coach Ashleigh. She makes a great role model for any aspiring athlete. We definitely recommend Coach Ashleigh to anyone!

Coach Ashleigh has proven to be a tremendous resource for my 14 year old daughter. Right from the first day, first minute, she's all about teaching soccer, from the tiniest detail upward, ball juggling, dribbling, and field moves. She observes shortcomings in the player very quickly and tells how to fix it immediately, so each session becomes valuable, and then she follows up with exercises for home! She has been very professional, willing to work with us on our timings (day of the week, time of the day); and her own ball skills while demonstrating moves are inspirational for the player.
While lady coaches are rare and a great plus for girl players, I believe Coach Ashleigh should not have any problems coaching boys too. Thanks CoachUP, for helping us find Coach Ashleigh!

Ever since my daughter Rachel has been working with Ashleigh, her first touch and dribbling skills have really improved! Ashleigh is super fun to work with and is a great coach. We need more women coaches for girls' soccer.
