I’ve been training in martial arts since I was 16, and began teaching at Robot Fight & Fitness in Santa Monica since January 2012. I specialize in private and group classes in Strength & Conditioning and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. My personal goal is to be the best version of myself I can be, and I extend this goal to all of my clients: realize your potential and then surpass it; become a better you. To optimize your training, plans are designed specifically to fit you and your goals.
A typical session consists of warming up with a joint-mobility complex, dynamic stretches, ballistic movements to increase your heart rate, followed by a circuit-based routine that will include exercises selected specifically to help you accomplish your goals.
I dedicate a portion of each session to focus on skill-building, wherein I instruct you on the proper form of each exercise. Safety is my number one priority; I will never push anyone into injury.

Arun is a great coach, his motto is "Don't give up on yourself, because I'll never give up on you." I don't think it can be said any better than that. My first sessions with Arun were a mix of Muay Thai, BJJ, and fitness. He's an example of someone who lives the fitness philosophy that he preaches. I enjoyed Muay Thai and fitness - Arun will have you doing pushups, squats, up-downs, jumping jacks, and anything else you can think of. He's great at breaking down each move and willingly presents himself as your training partner. I remember when he was teaching us how to do a rear naked choke (get your mind out of the gutter) he actually sat there and let every participant choke him and he would tell you if he could still breathe! That's commitment! I couldn't recommend a better coach and trainer. You won't be disappointed.
