More About Coach Arthur
I have 28 years of training and coaching tennis players who range from beginner to advanced level player/athlete from 5 years old to 90 years old for tennis and related therapeutic sport training. I was a division one collegiate tennis player.
I was a Division One Tennis player at UMBC from 1987 to 1989. I received a scholarship for my tennis skills. I also competed in various satellite tennis tournaments in 1988. I have been teaching and coaching tennis for over 25 years including male and female division 1, 2 and 3 collegiate tennis players.
A typical session will vary based on a clients individual needs, conditions and abilities. Generally, a session will cover a dnamic warm- up, footwork drills, flexibiltiy, tennis specific drills for all strokes focusing on accuracy, movement, acuity, power, endurance and focus on weak areas of the game, and finishing with cool down activites.
