A combination of skill development, conditioning, sports functional training and resistance training to improve the player's IQ, Confidence, Strength, Stability, Endurance, Speed, Power and Quickness. I use drills that are functional and easily translate to in-game situations. The better you move the better you play. My specialty is improving one on one moves, footwork, creating space and athletic improvement. Group session have a duration of two hours or more. Individual is up to an hour but two hour sessions can be requested for a different rate. I have trained, worked with and develop lots of high level players. I'm confident my methods work both as a coach and trainer. 90 percent of the kids in my Team Mega Wildcats Program go on to play college basketball

My son’s first training session with coach Mega was very exciting and fulfilling. He enjoyed every minute of it and looks forward to continuing learning to develop his game more.

Great experience for first lesson

(no details provided)

Great instructor ! My son really got a lot out of our lesson. He is definitely getting him ready for the next level

Training with Mega has helped me elevate my game to levels that were once unheard of for a guard my size. Showing up day in and day out surrounded by guys my age and even older , guys with a range of skill sets, all helped me improve. As weeks, months and then years went by, you often saw the same faces. Having that familiarity over time helped us develop relationships as teammates and most can say even brothers. Elite training with a lump sum of family vibes is a safe haven and is more than a young kid can ask for growing up in the tough city of new york.
I started training with coach mega I believe in the beginning of my freshmen year I think, and I can say coach mega taught me a lot about the game of basketball from training moves to the basics of the game. Everytime I know I have a workout with him I get happy because we have a bond and I enjoy my workouts and I think that’s an important thing because it makes me want to go and while I’m getting better and learning new moves I have a great time and enjoy it’s not always serious. Also the things mega taught me I still do those moves now and it’s apart of my game so it’s not like we workout for nothing it can transfer to the games easily, and the moves mega taught me to do I can say can really break down any defender with the combinations he puts it’s dangerous and I’m thankful I have him on my side to train me.
What can I say about Mega. There’s so many positive things that I could say about him as a coach and trainer. I met him going into my junior year of HS, and I can gladly say he made me a better player, leader, and athlete. He introduced me to a more advance but simplistic way of looking at basketball. Angles, positioning, pace, etc... As a 6’5-6’6 player, he broke the mold of the typical tall NYC kid being a “big man” and molded me to my true skill set of facilitating, ball handling, all-around guard while utilizing my IQ for the game. He knows his players weaknesses, works on them in workouts, and throws you into the fire during game time. An effective way of failing to take the next step forward and ultimately succeed. Yes he loves to win be he loves seeing his players grow and learn more than anything. He puts talent together with likewise styles and selflessness which helps his program succeed. As a trainer, he pushes his players and brings out there untapped potential and applying a work ethic so they can achieve anything. He does this so we can want more and apply it to life. Using basketball to propel us in life. So In fact Mega is more than a coach and trainer. I wouldn’t be close to the player that I am today without him. From the experiences, pressure, and motivation I am very knowledgeable about my capabilities on the court and have a shoulder to lean on.
In my time playing basketball, I’ve worked out with a lot of coaches and trainers from around the country. Each one of them had their own way of teaching and coaching kids, but Mega’s way of coaching was different. There’s more to being a coach than just knowing the game well. Knowing what needs to be done in order to be successful, knowing which coaching methods work and how to face adversity, that all comes with the job, and Mega knows that. I’ve been trained and coached by Mega since I was in middle school, and he would always push me to work harder and be a better player. From the countless amount of reps that we’re done in his drills, to executing and applying those drills in real time. Mega’s mindset and out of the box thinking has shaped many players into great athletes and I’m proud to be a part of it.
I have been working out with Arnell Milton for about 8 years now and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be the basketball player, mentally and physically that I am today. Arnell has a great understanding of the game has he has been my coach and trainer being able to put me in game like situations in our training to help my game situation decision making and then putting me in the correct positions on the court to succeed while coaching. Arnell is very detail oriented and can pick up the nuances of a skill or move to improve the action, and can pick up the difficulties someone is having with that skill or move to improve their abilities. Arnell has put me into plenty of tournaments a league to play against the best there is and have me workout with the best talent too because metal sharpens metal. Arnell has been a massive mentor for me in life and basketball, he has taught me a lot of skills, drills, and situational thinking but also a lot of life lessons like determination, perseverance, and teamwork.
From the moment I started training with coach mega my confidence returned. Coach Mega is a really good coach,he connects with his players on and off the court and motivates you to do better. If you don’t understand something He explains and demonstrates the techniques and encourages until the player gets it right. He also explained how to use the move in a real game situation which really helped my game a lot. I have met a lot of coaches and coach Mega was the only one that I’ve really felt like I was starting to take my game to the next level with. Highly recommended!!!!!!!
Coach Mega’s workouts are challenging to say the least. One of the main focuses are making sure that whoever he’s training is in shape. Not many trainers make use of the full court but Mega does. His fullcourt drills prepare players for performing at a high level at the end of games while also helping to develop discipline and establishing good habits. Another focus of his workouts is craftiness. He’ll often have players complete a series of moves before having them elevate for a jumper or finish at the rim. Overall, after completing a Coach Mega workout, a player will have gotten in better shape, tightened their handle, and put up an abundance of shots. Sent from my iPhone
Once arriving at Cardinal Hayes and playing on the high school varsity level, the game of basketball was becoming much more than basketball and running up and down. I started working out with some more trainers who were able to teach and help me understand the mental and condition part of basketball. One of those coaches being coach Mega. Mega’s training is more about how much do you want it, he’s going to push until you feel like you can’t do any more. At the end of the day that’s what you want, to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Coach mega also knows what to work on when you do work with the basketball. He’s going to do game situation type drills not just something that’s going to tire you out with no purpose. Can’t wait to get back in the gym with coach Mega.
Through Arnell’s training sessions I’ve acquired skills that directly correlate with in-game situations. Best part of the sessions that never changed, unlike the drills, are the pauses in between exercises, coach Mega would explain the purpose of the exercise that I’m doing.
Mega is one of the best trainers I have ever worked with. He understands the nuisances of the game and uses his knowledge to create drills that improve your game. Workouts consist of skill work, strength work and conditioning, which are all needed to be game ready. Look forward to working with him in the future.
Arnell is an amazing basketball coach, he really shows you what professional training means. Coach Arnell takes drills from the highest level of basketball and make his students preform these drills, what makes his training incredible is he sits with you on those drills until you master the drill in perfecting the smallest details. After every session with coach Arnell I feel my shooting and ball handling abilities skyrocket. I I have been working with Coach Arnell since June 2014 and after five months I feel a completely new player going into my junior year. In the duration of my sophomore year I got no playing time, gained 10 pounds (230), barely scoring 2 points a game, with little ability to shoot or even run, even less ability to play defense or dribble and eventually had a season ending injury. Now going into my junior season I have lost 10 pounds, I am getting highest on rebounds and allies, I am the most conditioned athlete on my team, with an very good technical base. Coach Arnell has made all this possible working with me all summer, . Coach Arnell is a great coach, it would be a mistake to not work with him.
My name is Gabriel Davis, I'm 25 and I have played college basketball at New York City College of Technology, in the Dominican Republic, and in Chile. I used to train with Arnell Milton or "MegaMan" which is his trainer name. MegaMan helped me a lot in understanding about dribbling, shooting, and the mechanics of making moves with the basketball. He is great trainer and a good person. I am looking forward to training more with him and watching him succeed more in the training field.
Ever since I have started working on my game with Coach Arnell I feel my game has taken off. His unique drills have made the game much easier. He never exclusively trains one part of your game. Meaning if you are doing a jump shooting drill there will possibly be some conditioning or if we are working on being explosive there will also be a ball handling aspect to the drill, which makes the game much easier. He also knows how to deal with people in a way that makes it fun to work hard. He can push you to bring the best out of you without yelling or being condescending. He is a big reason to why I have had my personal success in the Peruvian and Bolivian leagues overseas and I look forward to training with him when I return home.
