More About Coach Armend

I have a lot of experience training athletes from any level. I do group or individual sessions. I train middle school, high school, college, and professional athletes. I love to teach, passing my knowledge to young generations. For example, I taught Chicago Bulls superstar Zach Lavine at a young age. Basketball is my passion and pretty much my life.

I am originally from the former Bosnian Yugoslavia. Many talented players are produced from this area, players such as Luka, Doncic, Kukoc, Petrovic, Divac, Bogdanovic, Stojakovic, Nurkic, Dragic, and many others. . I received a basketball scholarship from the University of Idaho, and I played pro basketball in numerous countries all over Europe.

I paid a lot of attention to fundamentals and footwork. As a result, I can train all the skills, from a point guard to a shooting guard-forward position, and I also train post players. I am 41 now, and I learn basketball from many different coaches, styles, philosophies, and tactics. I communicate with my clients before working out to see what the clients want to work on. I also do formative assessments during the workouts and then give feedback to my clients, informing them what they have to work on.

Wow. Just wow! Coach Armend is exactly what we were looking for. My son is trying to make his local school team in the fall and needed a critical eye to call out what he needs to adjust. Coach Armend was quick to spot meaningful areas of improvement and gave my sons drills that he can work on on his own in between sessions. Beyond that he was positive and motivated my son to want to do better himself. Again exactly what we were looking for!

Great first session, working on dribbling for almost an entire hour, exactly what I needed! No BS, just pure basketball fundamentals and get the work done.

Coach Armend is amazing! He focused on the foundation of dribbling and he showed details of those “pro” moves. He has great knowledge based on his professional experiences and he is really good at communicating and coaching as a private trainer.
