More About Coach Aric
Over the course of four decades, I have dedicated my life to coaching and playing volleyball. My experience includes eight years with the USA Men's National Team, where I had the privilege of working with some of the best athletes in the country. Additionally, I spent ten years with USAV High Performance, serving as both the Head Camp Coach and Lead Evaluator.
In the collegiate realm, I have had the opportunity to coach at prestigious institutions such as USC and Chapman University for over ten years. At the high school level, I have accumulated more than twenty-five years of coaching experience, nurturing young talents and guiding them towards success.
My coaching journey has also taken me to various adult teams affiliated with USAV, where I have spent over thirty years honing my skills and helping athletes reach their full potential. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of training individuals from around the world for over six years, gaining valuable insights and perspectives.
Throughout my coaching career, I have achieved numerous accomplishments. As a coach, I led the Chapman College Men's DII team to the National Runner-up position in the NCVF. I have also guided teams to victory as the SCCVL League Champions on five occasions. Additionally, I have secured USAV/USVBA Club Bids and have won numerous High School League Championships. My teams have consistently finished in first place in various tournaments, spanning high school, club, and college levels.
In terms of certifications, I am proud to be CAP and Impact Certified, demonstrating my commitment to continuous learning and development as a coach.
As a player, I have achieved significant milestones as well. I have been honored as an All American, All State, and All League player, showcasing my skills and dedication on the court. In outdoor volleyball, I have excelled in both AAA Grass and AA Beach divisions. Moreover, I have represented the USAV Men's team, winning six National Titles, finishing as National Runner-up on ten occasions, and securing fifteen Bronze Finishes.
Beyond coaching and playing, I have also taken on various responsibilities within the volleyball community. I have served on the USA Rules Commission, the RVAA Diversity and Inclusion Task Force, and the Gold Medal Squared Coaching Diversity Task Force. These roles have allowed me to contribute to the growth and development of the sport on a broader scale.

Coach Aric was extremely intelligent about what I needed to fix while still keeping things quick and easy for me to understand. He had a very upbeat energy, and although I didn’t plan on doing more than one session - I am now hungry to learn more about volleyball! I joined an adult recreational (sand volleyball) league, and Coach Aric found a sand court for us to meet at. We worked through a lot of different drills, and I learned A LOT in an hour-long session. We initially wen to coach Aric for a 'trial' lesson. Since then we have rebooked several times as first and foremost my daughter loves his teaching style and knowledge of the game. As we all now teenage girls are some of the most difficult to please so my daughter finding a coach she had no complaints about is fantastic. Coach Aric is always on time, very flexible with scheduling days/times that suit our very busy schedules.

While I was working my way up Team USA, I rarely got on the court but I was able to work with Aric Anderson every day.
