I have 10 years of coaching experience at the high school level (5A and 6A). Coached Division 1 athletes and many more over the years. Playoff experience. I have also coached an 18U Gold Select team. Experience coaching all ages in hitting and fielding.

All State Shortstop, Offensive and Defensive play of the year, Wise county player of the year. Played at the collegiate level in the Lone Star Conference. Lone Star Conference All-Conference 1st Baseman.

Fundamentals, Fundamentals. I start with the bare basics to build from. Once I can see where your athlete is I will continue from there. I believe in a very game style approach. Athletes have to be able to see the pitch to hit the pitch and be able to understand the game when it comes to playing in the field. I will build on their knowledge and run drills that help excel their thought process of the game.

My daughter LOVES going to lessons with Coach April. April is very good with her and explains things to her so that she understands. (She is 8) I saw changes after just 1 lesson. I HIGHLY recommend April.

Set up lessons for my 8u. She took to her right away. Fielding instruction was explained and demonstrated in a way that made sense for her. It came together after a few reps. Bat swing is already looking more fluid. Looking forward to our next lesson.

Coach April has done a great job with my 9 year old twin daughters. They have never played and she’s teaching them the basics. We’ve had 4 sessions and I already see a big impact!

I saw improvements with my 8 yo daughter’s pitching on the 1st day! The next session, she was successfully laying down bunts. I can’t wait to see what she does with her block/flip skills at the catcher position next.

Knew what she was talking about and picked up some bad habits I’ve been doing over the years with technique within 5 minutes. Great coach n definitely coming back
