More About Coach Antoine

I have coached footballers of all ages at the community/club/academy level in different countries, with experience on both on a 1:1 and group based setting.

In Miami I am the director of Oasis Futsal Academy, and elite futsal academy and league provider. Here I follow the academy's philosophy of "focusing on individual development to arrive at a stronger collective" as we follow our mission of developping futsal in South Florida.

In Sydney, Australia I was the director of a soccer academy. Here I developed the curriculum for our core programs (U8-U14) mixed and our female football program. A core function of our Academy was private training, where we had a vast network of 100+ players that I was able to train on a 1:1 basis. Our academy was contracted by the largest community club in the city where I was the head coach of the Women’s All Age division 1 team. I also was the head coach of U8, G12, U14, G18, and Men's All Age division 2 at the club.

Earlier when I attended Duke University, I was president of the club team where I got my first hands-on experience leading sessions of 80+ adult players, selecting teams, and pushing us to perform at our most competitive level.

In High School I played for Ransom Everglades’ varsity team, where we led the school to our only ever State Championship victory.

At Duke University I played 4 years on the first team of our club program. Here I served on the executive board for 3 years, where I had the opportunity to be the president for 1.5yrs.

After I moved to NYC where I played on many regional teams, and then left to Australia to pursue coaching.

Session Plans (Can be done in English, Spanish, or French):

I typically have a conversation with my client the day before the session to plan on what area of the game they would like to work on.

5-10 minutes before the session starts I have my clients engage in a FIFA 11+ warmup which incorporates balance, plyometrics, and agility exercises to reduce injury. I go over this on the first session, but afterwards I tend to have them do it on their own so we can maximize the hour for just soccer.

Heading
Shot technique
1v1 dribbling (both attacking/defending)
And on and on…

Sessions are meant to be exhausting as I view speed&agility/fitness as key to the game. However, this is always catered around the players club soccer schedule (ie. Lighter sessions around games, etc.)
