I have been coaching basketball since 1996. I started at Christopher Columbus High School as a JV assistant. I then became the varsity assistant coach as well. I have coached at the high school level and I am currently the head middle school coach at Eagle Academy for young men.

I actually started coaching football first at the age of 14 and I coached football both at the high school level and at the youth tackle level. I started my own minor league football team and competed at the state level. My fondest moments were watching young men I coached at the youth level and the grass roots level go on to play at the collegiate level.

I am a drills and skills development coach. I focus on both strengths and weaknesses. I prepare athletes to have strong work habits and to press the bar to compete at their highest peek. I like to start with light running to warm the body up and get the blood flowing. I then work through a series of dynamic warm ups which are non stationary stretches. I then use a basketball to continue my warms ups, particularly stationary dribble drills. One ball and two balls.. we then move into dribble drives and cool downs.
