More About Coach Ansley
I have coached on and off for the last 8 years. I have mostly done 1 on 1 technical skills training with both young athletes beginning their careers in soccer, as well as athletes looking to play at the next levels. I also currently coach endurance sports such as triathlon, swimming, cycling and running. I work with all ages 8 and above.
I played DI collegiate soccer and I am now a Professional Triathlete competing in middle and long course Triathlon. In College I was the recipient of the NSCA Strength & Conditioning All American Award for 2020.
I begin all of my sessions with a dynamic warmup consisting of sport specific movements to adequately prep the body for training. From there, I typically proceed to drills with quick touches, toe taps, juggling, volleys. This is a progression of the warmup, but more focused on getting reacquainted with the ball. From there, I like to move into a progression of movements with the ball around 2 cones, this gets the athletes brain working and engages all sides of the foot. Depending on time I will either move into specific passing drills that incorporate agility and looks, or dribbling specific patterns. I like there to be some fatigue on the athletes legs so that by the end of the session, their touch is being improved under fatigue.

Madeline Stesney (Testimonial)
I reached out to Ansley because I was looking to get back in shape after sustaining a knee injury. I was previously a DI athlete so I was hoping to gain back my strength. She made me a strength plan that focused on injury prevention and allowed me to get back to running and other activities I love. She was always available if I had any questions, needed to talk, or if anything started to feel off. It felt like she was invested in making me better!
Molly Hiniker (Testimonial)
Ansley has been a great coach and support system for me for each of the three half marathons I have run! Despite being located across the country, Ansley has been a constant presence in my training program, helping me with everything from a training calendar, injury prevention, and diet and nutrition pre-, in-, and post-race. When we were located in the same place in college, she was a super positive presence in my athletic life, supporting me with my fitness goals 100% of the time. I would recommend Ansley's coaching and training to anyone from aspiring elite athletes to average runners!
