More About Coach Anesu

I have been training basketball players since 2015. I worked at Pat the roc skills academy from 2015-2020. I typically work with elementary to early high schoolers.

I played my college basketball at Rhodes College in Memphis Tennessee. I was the leading scorer during my junior and senior seasons. Won the conference championship in 2017 (JR Year). I was also the team MVP as a senior. Led the NCAA in points per 40 minutes (38.4)

Ballhandling/jump rope warm up, which is an intense circuit of stationary dribbling drills mixed in with jump rope conditioning.

Full court ball handling - intense dribbling on the move

Catch and shoot - focus on being set and ready to shoot both in the midrange and beyond the 3 point line.

Shooting off the dribble - focus on the ability to shoot the ball accurately after different dribbling drills

Finishing at the rim - Work on different finishes attacking the basket, off of both one and 2 feet to maximize versatility

Competitive drills - A chance to put all of that skill work to the test!
