More About Coach Andrew

I have 5 years of coaching experience. 2 years as a little league coach for 11u and 3 years as head coach on the junior varsity/varsity level in high school. I was assistant varsity baseball coach/pitching coach at Pontiac Northern High School in Michigan from '09-'10, and head junior varsity coach at Pontiac High School in Michigan from '11-'13. I typically work with junior high to high school age groups.

I was a 4 year varsity starter in high school at Pontiac Northern High School from '04-'08. I was team MVP my junior and senior years, All-League sophomore-senior year. I was named to the All-Oakland County team my senior year of high school. I have participated in numerous Perfect Game tournaments from 14u-18u with the Lakes Area Dodgers. I have one year of college experience playing for Jackson Community College in Jackson, Michigan

A typical session will last 45-60 minutes. For pitching I focus on throwing mechanics, control, and velocity. Drills I like to incorporate are the towel drill, balance drills, stride drills and stretching! Outfield techniques I like to focus on are crow hop, tracking fly balls and throwing mechanics.

The proof is in the pudding so to speak. After one coaching session with Coach Andrew, my son played in a playoff game and hit two doubles and a line drive that was speared by God only knows how, and opposing player. He scored twice and drove in four runs. Quite an accomplishment for an 11 year old who have been previously striking out. Not only that it's the growing ability increase exponentially. I only wish they would let him pitch. This team has no idea how much better a picture he is now. Thanks Coach Andrew.

Coach Andrew is terrific. We just had our first session for my son who plays on a 13u travel team. He absolutely knows all aspects of baseball and how to work with kids of all ages. He is young enough to relate to athletes today and teaches the fundermentals needed to improve. We have booked more sessions with Coach for once a week. He has a positive attitude and you will not go wrong with him.

Coach Andrew's ability to communicate not only how, but the why he's asking or having you do a certain drill is why my son's pitching has moved to the next level. I expect my son will continue to get better!

Andrew is very good at paying attention to detail. He has the patience and the tools to work with all levels of players. I have seen him take players who never played the game of baseball to players who love to play and are very good.
