I want to begin by saying that I do not yet have an industry certification. I love the sport of baseball, plain and simple. It is a passion of mine and have been playing it since T-ball. I am a young buck, I am currently 24 but I have a lot of experience with the sport. I have coached back in Texas for the little league in Alton where I too played when I was small. I volunteered and had a blast coaching. I also volunteered coaching at Camp Wing working with kids at the age of 9-14. I am currently working on my degree in becoming a coach with a minor in Kinesiology at Bridgewater State University.

I got the Senior Lettermen for Mission High School in Mission, Texas. I had a sensational season playing varsity since sophomore year. In middle school I played for the Palmview All-stars where I got recruited to play first base although I was an outfielder. I played at University of Texas-Pan American as a walk on until I tore my meniscus. I have been competing every year until then. I recently moved up here to Massachusetts and played for the West Roxbury Nationals last summer in the Yawkey League.

I began with stretching. Stretching is key and most relevant in the beginning of any workout or physical activity. I would begin by stretching the legs leading to stretching of the arms. After that I require a small jog/run to get the body warmed up. We then begin with loosening of the arm that leads to warm-up throws beginning on our knees. In transition I then began to give us distance as we get further and do some long toss. Of course the drills and techniques vary according to what we are working on that day.
