More About Coach Andrew

I have been a competitive year round swimmer for thirteen years. I swam for a NCAA Division I College on scholarship. I competed at the top level of the sport for several years. At school I received four certificates from the Exercise Sport Studies department in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Health & Wellness, and Sports Management. I helped my team's personal trainer with her own clients for several months, worked for LA Fitness as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, and now have my own Personal Training Clients. Over the last three years I have worked with kids of all ages through their early twenties, as well as mature adults.

I competed at the National Level in swimming in High School and College and was the top distance swimmer for UC Santa Barbara while I was in school. I still hold records i multiple events for my high school and was given a scholarship to swim for UCSB. At UCSB I received the Fitness Instruction Excellence award from the Exercise and Sports Studies Department for completing all four of their programs, being a teacher's assistant for several classes and taking over a few of my own fitness classes.

A typical Fitness Session with me focuses on one, two, or three body parts at a time that the client needs work on based on their specific goals. All of my clients receive a free consultation to assess their current fitness levels and any limitations or corrections that need to be addressed within their personalized training program. I focus on areas my client needs to work on and I also give them exercises and habits they should bring home with them in order to reach their full potential and be successful. I treat all of my clients as if they are family and make sure they are taken care of with any need they have.

i will def continue training with andrew

Where to begin? I had an amazing body 3 years ago, weighing 155lbs at 5'7 height. Then i got pregnant and had my beautiful daughter Gianna who was an extreme blessing even though, i gained 90lbs, and got super depressed! I didn't think i could do anything about it! Well... after i met this amazing, wonderful , great spirt, and so inspiring "Andrew Barmann" he changed my mind. Working with him made me realize anything is possible i need to lose 90lbs and so far in just 1 month of training with him, I'm down 20lbs! I know alot of people think its just about the weight loss but its not. i feel happier, stronger, and more motivated thanks to Andrew. More training with him to come because i will not leave this man until I'm down my 90lbs and after haha! Keep up the amazing work you do! You put so many smiles on so many peoples faces.
I have now had 3 sessions with my personal Trainer Andrew Barmann. He is quite fantastic, and will be training for the 2020 Summer Olympic Swim team. I think I bagged a good one Darlings. Andrew will now be known as El Diablo, affectionately of course. What on Earth possessed me to put my body through this torture? So I don’t look like a beached whale by my pool, on the beach or between the sheets. OH MY GOD I have literally been in hell though. The 1st Day I did legs, not so bad, I’ve been working them out moving my pudgy self around. The 2nd Day, I did lots of cardio things, arms and some weird awkward moves and motions that I am absolutely positive I looked utterly ridiculous and with the weird positions I felt like I should be in a bedroom not a gym. I also felt like vomiting driving home. Today, we did primarily chest and abs, thankfully I know a majority of these moves, so didn’t feel so awkward. My body however, has obviously forgotten.
