To Whom It May Concern: This letter is in reference to Andre Clark. Andre was a student-athlete here at United Tribes for two seasons. During this time, I saw first-hand the character of Andre Clark in many different settings ranging from social to academic to athletic arenas. In all arenas, he exhibited the highest levels of achievement and professionalism. Andre is a highly motivated, task and achievement-driven individual who employs a solid work ethic. He was always reliable, always on time, and always gave his maximum effort. Andre stood out as an athlete due to his given talents but also because he worked hard to expand upon his athletic abilities. However, I am even prouder to say that his athletic achievements, though many, paled in comparison to his academic and personal achievements. Andre is the only Academic All-American we have ever had. He was held in the highest of regards by our faculty, staff, and administration. Aside from his academic success, he was always working full-time jobs here on campus. He was never late and always did what was asked and did it well. At some point in his life, he realized that hard work and a great attitude would carry him a long way in life. Our college benefitted greatly from his work and attitude. Having coached over 12 years at the collegiate level and having worked with over 400 student-athletes, can say that Andre Clark is one of the finest, if not the finest, individual student-athlete I have ever had the privilege of watching and working with. Having four sons of my own, I would be honored and proud if they exhibited half of what Andre does. He is a true professional and is destined for great things.
