I have been coaching tennis for 10 years and have perfected the process of learning the sport for all ages and levels. I started coaching tennis when I was 14 years old. I started my first summer camp and ran it successfully in Michigan. I have watched and analyzed thousands of videos to perfect my coaching abilities and drills. I used these processes on myself and they work. I am currently the only self taught professional tennis player and currently still participate on tour. Being self taught, I can show my fellow clients the exact routes to take in making their tennis game stronger both physically and mentally. I have been through all the ups and downs and therefore can relate to my clients every step of the way. I will challenge you during my sessions and you will see fast improvement.

I was recruited to play on a full scholarship at Xavier University of Louisiana. I played for Bethany College in Kansas. I started playing tennis when I was 3 years old and have loved the sport ever since. I have played nationals, international and satellites tournaments.

I give special attention to detail during my private lessons to help my clients improve faster. I have coached all levels, ages, and genders. I am fun and very social and enjoy when my clients are improving and having fun.

1) Won over 190 championships in my juniors career.
2) Was ranked top 30 in the nation NAIA in college.
3) Finished 3rd at nationals twice, both in 16s and 18s divisions.
4) Was ranked in the top 15 men's division in the state of Texas within 2 months of playing tournaments.

I am the only self taught professional in the world, therefore I have perfected the process of learning the sport. I am known for fast improvement and customized sessions based on your age and level. If your looking to improve quickly with the correct fundamentals, I am your guy. Below are several steps of how I evaluate your game on the first session.

Step 1) Evaluate the level of the player
Step 2) Determine the comfort level with different strokes (forehand, backhand, volley, serve, slice etc...)
Step 3) Help the player to set goals and guide them achieve them.
Step 4) Break down each ground stroke in detail
Step 5) Teach them tips and help them recognize what they are doing incorrectly
Step 6) Show them tennis from a scientific point of view meaning for example; why does the ball react differently to certain strokes and styles?
step 7) develop a program that integrates improvement in tennis and physical fitness.

Judge from tennis skill, it seems to me, a tennis beginner, Amir Rahbar looks good. However, he is always late on court. The worst thing is he often breach the contract, for example, he didn't show up on the tennis court without any response after I text message said "I am here now", and he is a liar because he blamed me that I didn't show up after 6hours. Fortunately, I have all the messages as evidence between me and him. After the first lesson or lessons, he will keep sending messages to you about his tennis package with discount. When compared to the price at coachup.com, the discount looks very great. I trusted him and bought a 50 lessons package. After that, everything is getting worse, such as be late and not show up. Even after I bought the 50 lessons package which I only got 10 lessons in the past one year, he asked me to buy more big package because he try to build a tennis facility. He may tell you he have lots of clients and lots of big words. Fortunately, I didn't buy his words. I will let my friends know about this issue to avoid future financial damage and time waste. I talked to my lawyer, and my lawyer gave me a good suggestion to handle it: "You can file a law suit to "Small Claim Court" to get your money back even it's not refundable because he basically breached contract repeatedly.". If you met and will meet the same issue, you can use the legal way to protect you. Absolutely, I will have my lawyer to do that for me since I would like to give the refund to my lawyer. Since the most tennis learners are beginner, they are very easy to trust his words. But please don't trust his words, don't buy his package. If you really want to have a coach in the future, my good suggestion is you can book lessons at coachup.com which is easier to get money back. Alternatively, you can select other better coaches. Honestly, trust me and my horrible experience with him and hope you will not fall into his words and stupid package. Please be noted,he may give a reply under my review, but I have all the evidence to show how he breach contract repeatedly.
