My name is Amanda Jessop and I am a locally recognized Strength and Conditioning Specialist. I currently run my own independent personal training business, and specialize in functional fitness training, strength and conditioning, high intensity interval training, and sports performance training, and functional corrective exercise techniques. A couple of years ago I started studying how athletes train, and started following all the big strength and conditioning coaches, such as Todd Durkin, Mike Boyle, and Eric Cressey, etc. Since this research I have been able to refine my fitness habits, and overcome my own personal fitness plateaus. Because of this, I am now not only in the BEST SHAPE my life, but I have minimized my risk of injuries as well. This is where I was hooked. My affinity for training like an athlete was born. I adopted EVERY mental and physical aspect that an athlete utilizes and had a TOTAL fitness makeover. I am here to use my trials and tribulations to get you into the best shape of your life.

Your fitness program will be based on your individual profile (including age, exercise history, fitness level, goals, schedule availability, medical history, enjoyed activities, etc). I utilize the extensive profile I develop from our initial consultation to customize your pogrom so that you are always doing exercises that are just right for YOU. More Variety—Less Burnout: Researches have found that an exercise program is more successful if it includes variety and continually challenges the body to work hard. Your 1:1 session will include LOADS of variety and frequent changes to keep your mind from burning out and your body from hitting plateaus.
A typical session may include the following:
• Athletic Testing ( repeated every 6-12 weeks)
• Agility – Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Movement Techniques, Footwork
• Speed/ Speed Endurance- Running Mechanics
• Plyometrics- including jumping and landing techniques
• Strength- Functional Approach, Focus on technique, upper body, lower body & Core
• 3 Energy System Training- Peak Cardiovascular conditioning techniques • Functional Mobility and Flexibility- Myofascial Release (foam Rolling), various forms of stretching and muscle activation
• Injury Reduction- Identify & Correct muscular imbalances
Sessions conducted at your home, apt gym, local park, or private personal training gym. All equipment provided.
