I have been a softball pitching coach for about 9 years.
I played softball for 16 years including: Travel ball and in College in Monterey, CA
I was taught by one of the best pitching coaches in CA. Kenny Gardner (former pitching coach of Monica Abbott)

I believe mechanics are the most important part of being a great pitcher.
I have 8 different drills to achieve the perfect pitch.

All of the pitchers I am working with are now the starting pitchers on their teams.

To start the lesson it is always important to warm your arm up over hand first. So we start out by simply throwing over hand until you feel your arm is warm. Then we move on to the 8 drills. These are simple yet very effective. They all have easy to remember names so you can practice at home as well! The first 4 drills start out close and then we stretch (very important) the last 4 drills will all be from the correct pitching distance depending on what level you are playing at. Then after you have the drills down we start pitching. I will give you tips throughout your lesson on proper mechanics and form. If you are an experienced pitcher we will work on your curve, screw, drop, rise, change-up and of course your fastball. I also teach the following pitches - Drop Curve, Off-speed curve, drop screw, off-speed screw, off-speed rise.

Coach Allie is top notch. She has my 10 year throwing strikes after two sessions. She taught Jahzira how to evaluate what went wrong with her pitches so that she can fix them during her practices with her team. Coach Allie's drills, tips and patience has given my daughter a confidence in pitching I haven't seen before. Jahzira is usually shy and reserved but Coach Allie was able to pull her out of her shell. She's having so much fun that she's throwing more strikes AND her pitches have become faster after just two sessions. We highly recommend Coach Allie!!!

My mom found Allie on this site. I was a little skeptical at first when she booked it. From the first moment I met her I knew she was going to help my daughter tremendously. Coach Allie is a great coach to have work with your child. She is great with my daughter with interaction while providing proper skill and technique. You can tell she really knows her stuff and gives out great info during her lesson and also gives you drills to work on at home as well. Coach Allie in one lesson had my daughter throwing strikes fairly consistent which is amazing when it's my daughters first year of playing softball and first ever attempt at pitching which is a very difficult skill.

My daughter was extremely excited after her first lesson with Coach Allie. She immediately had my daughters attention by bonding with her. As the hour progressed I watched my daughter struggle to throw strikes to throwing them down the middle. Coach Allie was extremely patient and aways remained positive. It was great getting a full hour from a qualified instructor as typically other instructors only like to book you for 30 minutes. With Coach Allie you get the full hour which is a must. We are looking forward to our next session.
