More About Coach Ali

For 6+ years I have done many private training sessions with both individuals and small groups of 2-6 players that are driven to get better. Also, I have worked at many different youth basketball camps in the last 8 years, including volunteer coaching at a number of college camps, as well as assisting a hand full of high school coaches.

In an individual setting I like to tailor the workout specifically to the individual’s skill set and use my experience and knowledge to help take them to the next level.

I believe ball-handling is the foundation to success as a basketball player
- One Ball Drills
- Two Ball Drills
- Ball Handling w/ Resistance (bands, gloves, etc.)
- Incorporating the ball handling into game-like scenarios

Shooting: Learn to be a threat from anywhere on the floor
- In Close: Different finishing moves (layups, floaters, step-through, etc.)
- Mid Range: Pull-Up Jumpers, Proper Footwork, Secondary and Tertiary moves
- Beyond 3: Stationary (lots of repetition), coming off screens, off the dribble, pick & roll scenarios, transition moves into shots

Coach Ali was soooo patient and it was obvious he cares. My son connected with him right away. He’s amazing.

Ali is a very good coach. He is very patient and responsible in a way that he can correct every single mistake you made and teach you the reasons for each move and how to do it correctly. I can do better shoot on 3 point line like as Stephen Curry!
