I coach all ages. I currently coach at Campbell Hall Episcopal, in Studio City, grades K-3rd, Junior High, and Varsity. I am TTI (Tennis Teacher's Institute) Certified by legendary tennis instructor Don Henson.

Growing up, I trained with Craig Heinberg, Bob Atkins, and Nick Bollettieri Academy, and was ranked #1 regionally in Junior Tennis and #1 High School Varsity.

I focus on the fundamentals of tennis, building a strong foundation, and most importantly, I like to create a fun, patient, and encouraging environment :)

On our first session with our 9 year old son, we were impressed by coach Alex, who quickly saw two of his challenges, related to our son’s swing mechanics and his stance. He provided some really nice coaching to help him improve on these. Would recommend Alex to others!

Alex is an excellent coach and has been great to work with. My family was traveling to the LA/Malibu area for a 10-day vacation and needed to find a coach for our 14-year old (novice, hoping to make her high school JV tennis team) while there. Alex was super responsive and flexible and even found us a nearby court for the lessons. Over the course of our trip, we were able take several lessons. Our daughter's skills have increased immensely from lesson to lesson. Alex is encouraging and positive, breaking down the mechanics of each stroke into achievable components / progressions and then gradually building them up as she achieves mastery. We've tried lessons with a few pros, and our daughter says that Alex is the best by far. She feels like he is really paying attention to her technique, plus he keeps it fun. She looks forward to her lesson every day - and considers it to be the highlight of our trip. Thanks Alex!

Coach Alex taught a lesson for my mom and I and he did an amazing job teaching us basic form for every stroke and tips to increase our accuracy and consistency. We are pretty novice players who just picked up tennis by playing with friends but he really helped us step up our game!! Looking forward to more lessons.
