More About Coach Alex
I have been providing health and fitness coaching for the past 10 years. My coaching is based on the principles I learned from weight training for the past 16 years, and incorporates the methods that I have found to be the most effective.
I really enjoy helping people of all ages who have in interest in getting in shape and improving their overall health. My specialties include fat burning, mass building, endurance training, nutrition planning, and developing better eating habits. I focus on teaching how to improve your diet, as it is 90% of the real work involved in ultimately seeing results.
I always like to start my sessions with a good core warm-up, followed by resistance or free weight training alternating weekly. After each session I assure that the person understands the importance of post-workout nutrition by breaking it down for them and recommend the best options for their specific goals.
Played baseball for 10 years and played every single position except catcher. Was known for having a killer curve-ball that was unhittable. Made Nationals for one year as well as the All-star team.
Began weight lifting at the age of 16 and have not stopped since. Strongest muscle groups are back, triceps and shoulders. Reached max benchpress of 315 lbs at age 21.
