More About Coach Alexa
I have experience coaching at the high school level through a summer league with athletes aged 14-18. I also have coached at various drill camps during my high school and college athletic career for athletes age 5-18.
I played basketball at the collegiate level at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) for the entirety of my college career. I played as a forward both in high school and college.
Training sessions would begin with shooting technique, footwork and agility, and ball handling. I like to focus on doing drills while fatigued to mimic game like scenarios. The training would then move to more specific skill sets including post moves, pick and roll, pick and pop, defensive strategy, etc. Training would then end with conditioning.
