Philosophy:
I do my best to plan my sessions to be fun, enjoyable and effective. My main objective is for my clients to succeed in their sport and reach their personal goals and potential. I tailor the training sessions based on the individual skill of the client, personal goals and understanding of the game. In the session plan, we will build on coordination and agility, basic individual fundamentals and techniques as well as collective fundamentals.

Structure:

Activation
We will begin the session with a dynamic and stretching warm up that will prepare the body and the mind for what the session will be like. It is important to recognize that the warmup will not only prepare the body for the various ranges of motion of a soccer player, but it will also set the environment for success, as it has been proven that a proper warm up can prevent injury, provide oxygen to the muscles, and will ease the stress on the heart. Cones, ladders, and other equipment will be used to supplement the activation phase.

Main Phase
Each training session will have main objectives that we want to accomplish at the end of the session. This phase is usually with the ball exercises that will be tailored to individual skill and age of the client, personal goals and understanding of the game. In this phase we will build on coordination and agility, basic individual fundamentals and techniques as well as collective fundamentals. Some basic individual skills include basic control of the ball, turns with the ball, dribbling, passing and shooting. At the end of the session, the player will be asked to incorporate everything they learned that day in a "finisher" drill where dribbling, passing, and shooting will be performed.

Cool Down:
The cool down is the part where we bring the heart rate and body temperature back to normal. During this time we will stretch and do cool down exercises.
We will end with a review on what we learned with questions and conversation, and I will answer any questions he or she has.

I have love and passion for this game, and my main goal is to promote it and instill the passion while providing a safe learning environment enforced with core values of respect and care.

Client Reviews

Today was our first session with Coach Alejandro and he did an amazing job evaluating my son. He came prepared with plenty of drills to help my son with his dribbling, ball control, passing, offensive and defensive positions and his agility. He took an extra 30 minutes to discuss the next steps for our son to ensure that we were comfortable with the upcoming sessions. Alejandro has the statima to run and play with my 10 year old son so we're excited. So far, we highly recommend him.

He was very professional. Got on a level where my son could really learn and he made it fun! We might have found our forever coach
