More About Coach Aidan
Soccer player with experience playing in 5 different countries. I have coached a range of levels, from youth soccer players in the United States to professional players in top European leagues. I have coached successfully both in-person and online, and I am the founder and head coach of Curran Soccer Academy which is a global soccer training resource which has helped players in 50+ countries worldwide. I am a USSF qualified coach, qualified personal trainer, and nutritionist.
I am a former collegiate soccer player at University of Findlay (full scholarship recipient). Prior to this, I played for UCD AFC in my native Ireland, a club that competes in the first tier of Irish soccer. I have also signed contracts in Germany and the United Kingdom, with trial experience in Eastern Europe.
All of my sessions full customized to the needs of the player depending on ability, age, physical and technical capabilities, and position. Each session will begin with a warm up consisting of speed and agility work, and progress to drills that will challenge the player physically and mentally. After getting an idea of the player's strengths and areas of improvements, sessions will include drills to work on dribbling, stationary and directional control, long and short passing, shooting, decision making, and scanning.
More than anything, each player will leave with a sense of accomplishment and will be given a written feedback log after the session detailing the session and action points for players to work on.
