Client Reviews

My name is Korrie Bourn. I am a former student athlete of Adam Washburn’s. I played basketball at the Community Colleges of Spokane from April 2009-March 2011. Adam recruited me out of high school in March 2008, but I chose to forego playing basketball at the collegiate level and instead went to the University of Washington. Once attending school there, I realized how much I missed basketball and chose to contact Adam and begin the process of getting back into the sport. Adam was extremely helpful in this process and made the transition smooth and easy. While playing at CCS my first year (2009-2010), Adam was always available to talk when any concerns arose or if I wanted to watch film. He was extremely supportive and willing to do what he could to help make sure my experience was an enjoyable one. His caring demeanor and positive attitude allowed me to stick with the program when I was having doubts. During the summer of 2010, I knew I needed to put in work to achieve the goals I wanted to for the 2010-2011 season. Adam made himself available as many days a week as I wanted. We eventually decided on meeting in the gym three days a week. The workouts would vary from 45 minutes to an hour and a half. I’m convinced that he would have worked out longer and more days if I had wanted to. With this effort we both put in, I transformed from a mediocre collegiate athlete to a First Team All-Conference selection and a Second Team All-NWAACC selection in the 2010-2011 season. Adam Washburn would be an excellent candidate for a Head Coach position thanks to his many connections in the recruiting process, his willingness to do whatever needs to be done, and his desire to get the best out of his athletes.
