I have been coaching for 6 years. I have coached basketball for 6-7 year old, junior high school teams, and currently coaching at the high school level. I spent 3 years coaching at the junior level and 4 years at the high school. I have helped with all levels in high school from frosoph to varsity. I also have a bachelors degree in Physical Education

On my college campus, I played in the intramural league with college athletes. I have also played in a couple of adult leagues around town. Received coaches award when playing on my high school team.

My focus would be player specific. If a player need to work on defense that would be the focus, while increasing their other strengths. First we would start with warm-up. Some jogging, running, stretches. Next I would move onto dribbling drills, through cones, through legs around the back, up and down the court. Defensive stance and techniques would be a focus as well. Shooting drills and lay-ups. I would pick a focus or two for the day and increase the time in that area, while still giving a run through in other skill sets.
