More About Coach Aaron
I've coached high school athletes in the Tampa Bay area in the summers after high school and during college. I've more recently done lessons with youth and high school ballplayers in Meridian, MS, and am ready to work with some new ones in Virginia Beach! I've also worked with numerous coaches with college and pro experience and seek to use what I've learned from them to enhance my abilities as a coach and help the next generation of baseball players.
I played varsity baseball as a catcher all four years in high school, competed in scout teams every summer, traveling throughout the south (mostly Florida) playing in tournaments, and then walked-on to the baseball team at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL.
An athlete can expect an hour session to be broken up into half defensive drills and half offensive drills. I mostly work with catchers, so they can expect position specific drills, followed by hitting drills and then regular batting practice.
