More About Coach Aaron

I am a well-regarded coach with a passion for skills development. I have trained anyone from professional athletes all the way down to elementary school ballers. I found my passion for coaching while playing college ball at Stanford University as I coached many youngin's during our summer camps. I typically work with high-school students or younger. You can expect me to always give 110% to help anyone that is passionate about the game of basketball.

I received a full ride scholarship to Stanford University. I was a 2-year captain and 3-year starter for the Cardinal, holding a top-10 record in all-time assists. I was pre-season NIT All-Tournament Team (2012) and NIT MVP (2012). At one point, I was on Bleacher Reports top 10 guards in the country under 6 feet tall. During my senior year, our team was granted a bid in the NCAA Tournament in which we made a run all the way to the Sweet Sixteen. What a time to be alive.

An injury my senior year at Stanford granted me one more year of eligibility. After graduating from Stanford in 2014, I decided to play my final year of basketball at Saint Mary's College of California, earning a Master's degree in the process. During my time at St. Mary's, I was a team captain and WCC Honorable Mention. I averaged double-digits in scoring and led the Gaels to a 21-10 record. Not to mention, Matthew Dellavedova and I are best pals. Not really. But close.

My training doesn't just consist of making sure a client improves certain areas of their game, I want to help instill CONFIDENCE. That is the biggest difference between average players and great players. The beginning of my sessions usually contains a warm-up shooting drill, in which case I try to get a better sense of what my client wants to work on. I then figure out ways to maximize my client's strengths while improving their weakness. For example, if my client is a great shooter but feels they need to work on their handle, I have great drills that will require quick, easy, and efficient moves to help get you to spots on the floor to leverage that sweet J. These drills will steadily progress to harder and more physical moves. My sessions usually end with games of 1 on 1 in which we apply the skills we've worked on. By the way, I don't go easy.

The drills I put my client through will change depending on their strengths and weaknesses, but I typically run with the same session format.

He was a very great coach. My shot and my left hand definitely got better after that sesh. Never got worked that hard before my legs were dead. Would love to work with him again, he had many more drills i wanted to do. Very nice and chill guys as well. Played pickup games after the sesh and he was killing the competition. Overall outstanding coach, player, and person.

Aaron is not only an outstanding coach, he's an even better person. He truly cares about the progress of his clients and has a burning passion for the game of basketball. He trained my daughter for a year and she was exuberant about her development.
