Being a switch hitter is a very desirable trait at all levels. If you have natural/equal ability to feel comfortable in your hitting stance on both sides of the plate DO NOT deny yourself. Personally I started out a switch-hitter in my youth, but as I developed felt that focusing my technique as a left-handed batter established greater success at the plate. Only you know that comfort level. I will advise based on my experience as a professional player that right handed pitches far outweigh left handed- hitters. So if you had to choose between one, I would focus on the left side Improving your prospect level.
