Q

"I'm about to pitch in my first game and am a little nervous. Any advice?"

A
I would suggest visualizing success before the game. Whether it is the night before as you fall asleep, or on the bus ride to the game, visualization can be a powerful technique to put you in the right mind set before a game. Positive thinking and confidence is very important for success. So... imagine striking that hitter out, imagine getting a double play to get out of a jam, and when those situations arise in the game, you will feel much more comfortable, because you have seen yourself succeed in that situation before!
