The most effective way to stay hydrated is to drink plenty of water through out the day and during exercise. Whenever exercise is involved, it is important to replenish the salts (electrolytes) that are lost when sweating. Drinks such as gatorade and power aide have the salts (electrolytes) that need to be replaced. Taking small sips of water and gatorade throughout workouts (every 15-30 minutes) will help you stay hydrated.
