Hi, Peyton!
There are a few ways that you can learn more advanced tricks on your trampoline. First, always begin with the basics: strength, form, and prerequisite skills. For example, if you want to do a backhandspring, you need to make sure that you are equipped to do so. Here is what I suggest:
Handstand for 60 second with great formBridge for 30 seconds with great form (straight legs and shoulders over your hands) 1 minute plank hold without coming down 20 pushups with great form Strong frog jumps (20 in a row that are very explosive)
If you meet these basic requirements, you are ready to move on to backhandsprings!
So, for whatever skill you want to learn, make sure you have the proper strength, form, and prerequisite skills to do the skill!
I also suggest doing drills - such as setting or twisting drills! Ask a trusted coach for suggestions. If you don't have a coach, I highly suggest working with one before attempting new or dangerous skills. CoachUp is, of course, a great option or you can look into local Open Gyms that you can attend!
Best of luck!
