Regardless of the type of press coverage you are facing (Hard inside, Hard outside, Soft Press, etc.), the first thing you need is a plan. Regardless of the type of press, you want to push vertical and try to force the DB's hips to open to the outside and slightly over the top of you. Then, make a hard plant on your outside foot, using your inside hand to wash/swipe the DB past you and get underneath. The type of press you get will dictate how much hand fighting you'll need to do and if they are playing hard outside press, that is because they have inside help, so you want to try to press the DB more to the outside (this could also be done by lining up wider initially), and try to create a lane between the DB and wherever the inside help is coming from.
