More About Coach William
I have over 5 years of experience coaching athletes from youth to college levels and beyond. I currently serve as an assistant coach in a semi-professional league. Im also head coach at NEFC, where I work with both girls and boys high level teams. I primarily work with any athletes willing to put in the work. I have many connections at the club, highschool, college, and higher levels.
I played as the varsity captain for Newton North High School and went on to compete at Franklin Pierce University, where I played at the Division 2 level. I also played for UMass and later competed semi-professionally with Gate City, where we won the Division 1 championship. In addition to coaching, I still actively play, which allows me to continue learning and improving alongside my athletes. I live by the motto, “Teach what you do, not what you say,” believing that leading by example is the most effective way to inspire and develop athletes.
For each session, I begin with an evaluation of the players to assess their current skill levels and areas of improvement. Based on this, I tailor the session to address specific needs, while also considering the athletic goals each player has set for themselves. This approach ensures that each practice is focused, purposeful, and aligned with both team and individual development.
